Welcome to Big Rack Trophy Club

The Big Rack Trophy Club is a family oriented club open year round to club members, their families and guests. Our mission is to provide the best hunting and fishing experiences for every one as well as fostering the continued growth of the sport. This is Big Racks 13h year in operation with 2100 acres of prime deer and turkey. Our tracts consist of every type of hunting terrain that you could want ranging from hardwood ridges, pines, swamps, and fields with over 20 stands in place from box stands, double and single ladder, lock-on, and tripod stands. The Big Rack has every kind of big game and small game hunting to suit your needs and we are constantly looking to add new tracts of land. Predator hunting is always welcome for Coyote, Fox and Bobcat as long as it is done with in the season allowed. In addition to all of this every member is welcome to take part in the other clubs that Greg Quiel hunting clubs LLC runs, a Duck Club and a Quail Club. . We hava a couple of small ponds for fishing. We have professional that maintains all the food plots year round. We are working closely with Wildlife Biologist to insure proper Deer management on the properties..In 2015 we will be picking up a new 488 acre farm in Warren County. This track has never had a club on it and has not been hunted in yrs. There is 90 acres of old pastures that will be planted in new pines in Jan 2016. We will be setting up food plots and minera; sites in the old pastures. The rest of the track is in pines, swamps and small cattle ponds dot this farm. We will be clearing off the old logging decks for food plots and create shooting lines with in the woods. Also for 2015 we pick up another 716 acre track next to our 450 track to give us a 1100 acre acre block to manage for QDMA bucks. This track has large Ag fields on it planted with corn, soybeans, peanuts, wheat and sweet potaoes. This gives the club oer 1500 plus acres betwen our Warren County ttrack and this track to manage.

We are a very family oriented club that takes pride in what we have to offer everyone including our youth. Here are 2 brothers of a member posing with the nice big mature 8 pointer that their Dad harvested here at the Big Rack Trophy Club. Just look at the smiles on their faces the only way they could have been bigger smiles if one of them had harvested this deer. They hunted the stand that their father shot the buck from but chose to hunt a different stand that morning. That's deer hunting for you at it's finest being in the right place at the right time. Families are welcome to join us for a day, weekend or a full week. There is always some kind of fun for the kids to take advantage of like fishing, hunting, scouting, check trail cameras, and putting out corn at the stands. We have several families in the club with kids ranging from 10-18 years old both boys and girls. We are working on hosting more youth events at our club this past year we did a combination Wounded Service men, Youth Dove hunt and Skeet Shoot. We teamed up our kids up with one of the Service men to take part in the skeet shoot and then go out and Dove hunt with them what a great time everyone had. Each special event is followed up with a cook out at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Short one of our great land owners. They open up their back yard and shop to host the cook out.

In addition to the events we do with the youth we also do several events each year for our Wounded Service Men and Women. Each year at the Big Rack Trophy Club we hold the following events. A Dove Hunt/Skeet Shoot, A 3-D Archery Shoot and Deer Hunt, A Duck Hunt, A Quail Hunt, And a Turkey Hunt. We are teamed up with Freedom Alliance who helps us by sponsoring these special events and hunts. After each hunt we award one of the Wounded Service men with a free one year membership to the Big Rack Trophy Club or Quack and Quail Club given by Freedom Alliance from donations. This is just one of the ways we can show support to our brave men and women protecting our Freedom. And a way of giving back to them a place where they can share some great times and memories that will last everyone a life time. Our first recipient of a one year membership was Shawn Horsley presented by Greg Quiel the president our the Big Rack Trophy Club. We are very proud of what we do and what we have to offer. If you are interested in becoming and member or just want to get involved with our Wounded Service Men hunts please feel free to contact me . We also work with the Cape Fear NC QDMA Chapter in their youth projects.
